Every run is undoable. Each time this rule fires it saves a restore point, reads the changes back, and appears in your Jobs list with an Undo button, exactly like a job you started yourself.
Asking first holds the whole run with its list attached, and nothing is written until you say so. Whatever you choose, a run that would change more than half your catalog is held and asks you first.

Rules created by a connected assistant land here in the same shape, and are paused until you switch them on.
Changing a rule never touches products that were already handled. It applies from the next run on.
A rule watches your catalog and keeps it the way you want it, for example holding compare-at price a set amount above price, or pricing every new product from its cost.
Every run is a normal job: a restore point first, the changes read back and counted afterwards, and one click to put the whole run back.
Nothing runs until you write a rule and switch it on.
